Works fine, apart from the fact that the GUI is attached to the root window instead of the GUI window, and hence
it is fixed at the top left of my screen, and on all my desktops! It is, after all, still in Beta!
My problem comes when I try to run it on my laptop, which is a bit behind, with Linux Mint 17 and
4.4.0-98-lowlatency kernel. I want to use it as a simple sound processor for my midi bass instrument
so I set it up with Carla, routing the instrument via Alsa and Jack to Carla. When I try to invoke the TripleCheese plugin Carla simply aborts - no messages apart from the basic Linux 'aborted' message if I invoke Carla from a terminal window.
I'm a bit reluctant to do a complete upgrade of the laptop to Mint 18 if there is some other way round the problem.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks, Bill
