I posted this elsewhere but my ideal scenario would be to achieve this within MUX.
Essentially I'd like to set up say 16 VSTi's and send MIDI notes to them randomly. I could then have a bar of music playing that would play each of these in a completely random manner. I'm not overly fussed if they're confined to a single note either.
Perhaps it's the post Christmas drinks but my brain cannot comprehend the best, or indeed any, way to achieve this.
Possible or am I dreaming?

Have a look at the Note Dispatcher module, it also has a random mode, maybe you can (partially) reach your goal using that module.
