Waveform updates

I am planning to buy waveform. I searched the webpage but i cannot find any info about updates. With this license can i update up to the latest 8.x future versions? Also can i downgrade to a previous 8.x one if its buggy or have some other problem? Thank you.

Updates within the release major version are all free. When Waveform 9 comes out (next year), that would be an upgrade; but updates (bug fixes) to 8 will continue to be free.

We already have 'next year' - Waveform 9 might to take long until it appears .... But then, there are grace periods anyway ....
