Hi guys,
I finally made the jump into Waveform and so far I have to say that I really like it!
However I have some question to ask.

1) The first thing is that coming from Studio one the keyboard shortcut obviuosly are different, so is there an existing map to import into Waveform that is similar to Studio one?
If it does not exist I guess I have to create one.

2) is there a shortcut to click the spacebar for stop the playback and then click it again to restart the playback the beginning of the clip(or where the marker was)?

3) is there a shortcut to rendere a midi clip to audio like ctrl+b of studio one?Do I need to create a macro?

4) where can I choose which synth I can use to preview midi or step clips?

5) I would like to assign a knob of my midi controller to a vst knob, I clicked midi learn but I could not figure it out how it works.

thank you guys, I believe that Waveform as the potential to become one of the best Daw around with so many good and creative ideas implemented.
The only criticism is that although I do like the one window approach there are too many menus and options so at the beginning it's not easy and fast...I mean it seems a bit too crowded
but apart from that it's great!

1) Not Studio 1, but if you go to Settings, Keyboard Shortcuts, and click the "Reset to Defaults" button, you'll get a menu to reset them to match Ableton Live, or Cubase defaults, if you're familiar with those. They may or may not be nearer to Studio 1, I don't know

2) Don't think so, but you could create a macro to do it, and map it to a shortcut key. Something like this in the macro;
Tracktion.moveTransportToStart();
Tracktion.startPlayback();

You can make that toggle start and stop with if statements, but I don't know how off the top of my head

Can't remember with the other 3, at the minute, sorry
"my gosh it's a friggin hardware"

If the screen is getting too crowded:

You can make the pop-up help bubbles appear less often or not at all by clicking the Help button (lower left area) and choosing
Turn off pop-up help
or
Use longer delay before pop-up help appears.

You can hide most areas of the screen:

1. by clicking the icons to the right of the plus sign icons (to hide /unhide the Marker track, tempo track, input markers, plug-in area, whole lower area (buttons, properties panel, start/stop button area, mixer, MIDI editor)
2. by clicking the icon on the left below the Projects tab name to hide/unhide the browser
3. by clicking the down-arrow at the top left of the button area, you can reduce the lower sections to a smaller format.
