Audio to Midi

Hi all,
Is there such an option in Tracktion / Melodyne?
Ableton 9 has it and it works very well.

Melodyne Essential, the freebie with Waveform, does not have audio to MIDI capabilities. The other versions of Melodyne can do it.

The free version will convert monophonic audio to midi in Waveform because it's connected with ARA. The standalone version will not because it's not ARA and won't save a midi file. Just make sure Melodyne is using the "Melodic" algorithm" in Waveform.

To use it just select the clip and then set the "Stretch" parameter to melodyne. Then click on the melodyne button in the clip to open melodyne. To convert to midi, select clip and press "Convert to midi". You must use the vst3 version of melodyne.

Update:
It is working now. It seems that Melodyne defaults to the vst2 version and with that it really doesn't work. I completely deleted the vst2 version and rerun all the plugins. That helped.

I tried to follow the description. Part of it works, but not the final steps:
When I click on the Melodyne button or on "Show Melodyne UI", Melodyne does *not* open and when I click on "convert to Midi clip", nothing happens.

Everything else works as described:
I can change "Stretch" to Melodyne. The Melodyne button does appear. The pop up help says: "Click to show the Melodyne editor for this clip".

I own Melodyne Essential and have installed the vst3 version.
I also added Melodyne to the outputs panel of the track (not sure if that is needed, I did, just in case).

Any idea, what I am doing wrong or what is missing?

Okay, I had difficulties adding a screenshot, now I see, it is there.
The screenshot shows the green audio clip with the "Melodyne" button that I want to convert to midi. Melodyne was opened from the outputs pannel. In the program I was using "Transfer" to read the audio and turn it into blops.
But that is not the way I can to use it because Essential doesn't include an option to save as midi, so it has to be done in Waveform.

It works here. I did not insert Melodyne to the track outputs, but made sure that I am using only the VST3 version.

Select an audio clip.
Set stretch to "Melodyne".
Click on the "Melodyne" button in the center of the clip. The Melodyne window opens up.
Select the clip again.
Down in the clip properties panel, select "Convert to MIDI clip". Presto, done!
