is it possible to put midi clips in background?

Hey guys,
one nice feature in waveform is the possibility to put an audio waveform in background in the midi editor, but apparently it is not possible with midi.
I would like to write my midi pattern having in background the midi of another channel.

is it possible?

If you select two midi clips then open the midi editor you will see them both in the editor in different colours if your clips are different colours. The eye symbol on the right can hide the notes of different clips
