"When a clip is selected, you can use its 'speed' setting to change its playback speed. This can be combined with its 'keep original pitch' toggle button to time-stretch it."

That is from Tracktion help page.

I just dont see a "keep original pitch toggle button"??? Anyone want to push me in the right direction. I am on OSX 10.3.4. thanks.

I believe that is refering to the older timestretch. If you look right under the speed parameter, there is a box that says stretch. It's default is "no time-stretching." You can change that to one of three time-stretching modes, at which point changing the speed will time stretch the audio. Don't expect it to sound anything like ableton live tho... I use the time stretch to destroy samples (it's pretty good at that).

BTW, I tested this on a mac.

I hope he keeps the old time stretches there when (IF) we get a new one. Its a really unique distortion.

I hope he keeps it too.. I've burried effects on top of stretched stuff and have gotten some very bizarre results. I'd definately vote to keep the old algo's on deck.
