Waveform projects and folder locations

How does one set where default folders and project files are created? I really don't want them stuffed under the \users\userID folder; I 'd like them to be placed elsewhere for organization/backup purposes. I can't seem to find a setting that specifies where project folders are created...

I've a folder called TracktionData and within it there are subfolders named after the year. When you create a new project it remembers where you put the last one and puts the new one in the same place. If you create a folder structure that fits what you want, perhaps with album name within a year folder, where appropriate, and when you create a new project put it where you want it.
