Sonicstate's Nick typically does an extensive video interview with Claes (of whichever dev is there), but there's not one yet.I encourage you to subscribe to their channel, as it's very good:turbo_kev wrote:Cant find any

That was a frustratingly poor video. A lot of the on-screen action wasn't even in the frame. It doesn't take much to see what controls are being moved and make sure they're in shot. Also, the constant switching between the camera mic and the mixer feed was poorly executed.
Not having seen any other Sonic State videos from this NAMM I can only assume that this was the "B team" setup and had a less experienced camera dude and editor with a better set up/team filming elsewhere.
Disappointing quality from Sonic State.

At NAMM, Sonic State primes "upload speed" vs quality, my impression is that they try to cover many manufactures with a very short latency. Their "review" videos are professionally edited thou.

Yeah, I understand that. You don't have to believe me (I'm just an internet stranger) but I've done the exact same job at trade shows a few times for a couple of tech outlets. Show videos are rushed "smash and grab" affairs, uploading before others is far more important than production quality (up to a point) but there's no excuse for not including the basic level of necessary information - in this case getting the important sections of the screen in shot... it's just sloppiness that could be corrected by pointing the camera down a few more degrees. Granted, no one's going to die because of it but poor execution gets in the way of the viewer getting what they want out of the video.
