The addition of the padlock buttons for the input section (compressor and gate) were welcome additions to help dial in a preferred tone when switching between presets, as well as the save user default feature. However, I think the addition of bypass buttons for the compressor and gate input section could be useful for dialing in a particular sound with A/B comparisons.
So there would actually be 3 bypass buttons: one for each module, and also a global bypass for the input section to turn it off entirely. Then, allow the existing padlock buttons to save the state of the individually bypassed sections. (The global bypass would override both.)
Perhaps this seems a bit redundant, but more control is always nice.
Thoughts?

We may indeed think about adding this in the future. Currently the gate and compressor are automatically bypassed when their ratio is set to 1:1. So you can quickly A/B the compressor and gate by right clicking on the ratio knob (sets to default 1:1 ratio) and then get back to the previous setting using undo in the plug-in.
