Waveform 9.

What do you think could be going on?

I don't understand what is going on, but I think I have a work around.

The song is composed of all midi tracks. Playback is at the correct tempo when I set the tracktion tempo to 55BPM.
Some of the midi tracks are being output as WAV files through plugins for drums, bass and piano for backing tracks. They sound great when exported and everything is fine.

Some of the midi files are exported together for automated lighting cues and patch changes. This resulting midi file is two times longer than it should be when the tracktion tempo is set to 55BPM

I decided to double the tempo to 110BPM before I exported the midi file, and the resulting export seems to be the correct length.

However, when I import that midi file into a fresh Tracktion edit and allow it to use the tempo information, it comes in at 27.5bpm, but still plays at the correct tempo.

I have 30 songs I'm working with in a similar way, and this is the only one causing me issues.

Are any of the midi tracks in the problem song imported midi files. They might have an embedded tempo. Try Google searching "midi file tempo editor" it pulls up a program that might help and posts on other forums from people having problems with midi files and tempo.
