Using Novation Launchpad Mini with T6 as a transport control, is it possible?

Hey fellow Tracktioneers,

I found a Novation Launchpad Mini for a very reasonable price. Also have a line on Launchpad, non-mini version. I'm wondering if I can use it primarily as a DAW transport controller with T6. My home recording setup is all in one room, but I do have a vocal booth of sorts as part of the closet in that room that is across the room from my DAW desk. I'd love to be able to setup the launchpad mini like this guy has done with Cubase for remote control of T

Actually, it looks like the Korg Nanocontrol2 would better suit my needs.
