Waveform 9.1 midi issue

Hello all,

I'm using Waveform 9.1, Focusrite Scarlett 18i8, running MasOS High Sierra 10.13.4 connected via usb to the audio interface. Audio interface connected midi in/out to Yamaha MOX6 keyboard.

Here's my issue:
Recording Midi...

After laying the first track(drums, MT PowerKit) that works fine. Moving on to the second track to record a different instrument in midi, the first track jumps to the corresponding voice on the Keyboard (MOX6).
How do I fix this problem?

Every time, there's a track change, the voice of the previous track changes to the voice on the keyboard.

Do you have a MIDI input assigned to the first track? If so, does this have a "Program" set in it's properties (visible if you select the MIDI input)?

Yes, I've selected the midi input (scarlet 18i8); no, don't know how to connect channels and "Program" in the properties section.

I'm trying to get the best out of this DAW. First, it was the resetting on playback to previous voice/sound which worked once since I followed the instruction by rRowAudio. Now, I'm back to the same spot even worse.

Here's my work flow:
Settings: Scarlett 18i8 USB to MacOs High Sierra Waveform 9.1.
Midi I/O: Yamaha MOX6
Track Input: 18i8
Track Output: 18i8
Record enabled, record a take, it records but no midi note in the midi clip.
N.B. No VST/VST3/AU plugins inserted

What am I doing wrong? I've watched most of the Waveform videos still no answer...
Do all DAWs have the same issues?

Do you accidentally have the "Record MPE to Note Expression" shown in the above image turned on? If so, turn it off and see if that helps.

Hi dRowAudio, still here on the forum ? I would like to thank you for solving this problem, because i experienced the same issue as F7pro. Especially with the OB-Xd synth: midi recording with a certain preset, and when i playback the file, there is a different preset, but i have changed the settings you mentioned and now it's working fine. So thank you !!
