Tempo changes on Import MIDI file.

I've noticed that when a midi file is imported into MU.LAB 7.7.4 64 mac many of the tempo change messages are doubled up or even out of place when viewed with the list editor. The pieces still seem to play OK, but ...
Any Ideas??
