Tracktion Waveform 9: MeldaProduction VST3 plugins and sidechaining

Hi guys,

I'm just looking for a seconde DAW which runs on WIN and MAC. Loaded the Waveform 9 Trial today and apart from ruining my ears by white noise bursts, I've desperately tried to figure out how I can setup a sidechain from any arbitrary track into my MeldaProduction VST3 plugins!?
What I have in Cubase is that I can setup any VST3 plugin in side-chain mode (choser in the plugin-gui window frame) and that I can route any channels send into the side-chain input...

I rtfm and asked google for some help...The MeldaPlugins only report a single Stereo-In and a single Stereo-Out when selecting "Configure plugin channels".
Questions
1.) Is this a Melda-only problem?
2.) Is this a VST3-only problem?

Sidechain seems to be working for Melda VST plugins but not VST3. Meanwhile, Waves Vocal Rider sidechain doesn't work in my installation in any format.
