When I change from a preset with a long release time (a PAD) to an preset with a short release (BASS) the bass has a long release from the previous preset (PAD). If I change presets again and go back to the bass the release time is short again.

I can recreate this, can anyone else?

Zebra 2.8, 64 bit in Reaper, windows 10

Nope.
Same configuration, tested pads/basses before and after updating Reaper to current 5.80 version. Also tested VSTi and VST3i. Release was as expected in all cases.

Hmmm, maybe check with our support team. There's a bunch of possibilities, such as the parameter being automated, locked, MIDI Learned whatsoever...

In this case not using any of them. I will load a new instance and see if it still happens.

Must be somthing about the patches then. Will try to work it out.
