Hi I am not sure if this is already done somehow
I would like to have like the MTransient outputs only the extra boosted transients in output mode
but in the MDynamic EQ, I want to output only the boosts of the eq, so only when it works and it boosts the signal, I would like to get that as the output, that specific freequency and boost.
This would be wonderful! Please let me know if this can happen somehow. Thanks

I think I found a way with MXXX but I am not sure its the best
I wanted to extract the snare fundamental frequency
I added a small band in the snare's f.f boosted with dynamic eq then bellow a transient to output only the transients

Would a polarity inversion approach produce what you are wanting? Here's an MXXX preset.
Code: Select all

Hey thank you man!!!
But I think my way has better results
I hear weird, something like fast gating effect artifacts kind of.
Maybe Vojtech could do this as a feature of Dynamic EQs? He has alien technology I am sure he can

Hehe I'm afraid this wouldn't really work the way you'd probably think - the dynamic EQ is changing the curve and also the phase naturally. So there's quite no way to subtract the original signal. In some filters it would be possible, it would work basically like the auto-listen mode, would be ambiguous / impossible for multiple filters at once etc.
Numerous problems for something, very, well, rare
