Hi guys.
I would like to test Zebralette to check if it's something that fit me. However, on opening Zebralette in my daw, it asks for serial, and that this serial can be optained through the u-he website. So I did, like three times, but nothing in return so far.
Any help please?

If you are being asked for a serial number, then you are attempting to use Zebra2, not Zebralette.

Thanks reply guys.
It was simple really. When opening the synth in the daw the program automatically opens the licence/buy popup window, all I did was X'ing it out. But it's says Zebra on the synth, not Zebralette.
So now it's time to check what's the fuz is about.
Thanks again.

I don't understand that... did you download the Zebra demo instead of Zebralette? I posted a download link for Zebralette above.addvibe wrote: It was simple really. The only time I’ve seen that happen was when a newer version of Zebra was released and they updated their serial number format. I recommend you contact support(at)u-he(dot)com for assistance.
Feel free to call me Brian.

It's the same download, same installer. Zebralette installs with Zebra and Zebrify. It used to be so that Zebralette only worked when registered, as part of the pay-for package. Until one day we thought "wait a moment, if we make Zebralette free, we get more people to install the Zebra demo". "Zebralette: mini Zebra
Zebralette is our version of a Trojan horse. A free synthesizer and an introduction to Zebra2’s fantastic oscillators. Perhaps it will persuade you to try Zebra2 and upgrade. If one oscillator is this powerful, imagine what you can achieve with four… and all the other great features available in Zebra2.
Zebralette is included with the Zebra2 download and is installed at the same time."

Works pretty well too. Zebralette is a beast by itself and one of my favorite synths. Zebra is simply amazing.

When downloading from the included link above, the downloaded file is named "Zebra2," not Zebralette. The synth I opened is Zebra2, but it runs in demo mode. Sounds great, what remains is to see/hear/feel if it sounds 200$ good;-).

As Urs already pointed out, and as is mentioned on the Zebralette product page, Zebralette is a part of the Zebra2 bundle. It's not a separate download.
You download the entire Zebra2 bundle, you install the entire Zebra2 bundle.
Zebralette is installed as a part of the Zebra2 bundle.
Since Zebra2/Zebrify/ZRev are the commercial part of the Zebra2 bundle, they'll be in demo mode if you open either of those plugins. So if you don't want to deal with demo restrictions and you don't have a license, don't open Zebra2, Zebrify or ZRev.
The only free part of the Zebra2 bundle is the Zebralette plugin, you don't need a serial number for that. If you want to use Zebralette (for free and without any restrictions), then all you have to do is load the Zebralette plugin. Not the commercial Zebra2 plugin.
It's really that simple.

Bundle or not, when downloading from the included link in the post above, Zebra2 is downloaded. And when installed it shows up as Zebra2 in my daw. The same happens from ALL links on u-he website. It's that simple, really;-)

Reason 9 doesn't even support VSTs.
