Pinch zoom on MacBook works opposite of Garageband

I'm on Tracktion 6 and when you pinch-zoom on the piano roll/timeline it works opposite of Garageband which is what I'm used to. In Garageband, pinching inward zooms out which sounds counterintuitive on paper, but feels more natural. Is there a setting to reverse this?
