Just wondering if it's easy to sync my Roland VS-1824 hard disk recorder to Tracktion, preferably using the VS as master,
thanks very much
Mike

Sorry, no can do atm
You'll have to wait patiently for T2 which I believe will add MTC / MIDI clock support.

Thanks for the reply platinumears,
That's a drag, I wanted to sync up and transfer over a bunch of stuff, also wanted to use the drums I made in tracktion synced up with some tracks on the vs,
still it's a wicked app,
cheers,
Mike

I dunno whether V2 will offer support for being the midi slave though. I don't recall Jules ever giving an affirmative on MIDI slave, only MIDI clock.
For the few times when I've really needed MIDI clock, I've got round it by setting Tracktion's tempo to as close to the not-master device as it'll go, recording the audio into Tracktion, and then just stretching the audio to be fully time locked. For small enough differences in tempo, pitch changes will be near as damn it imperceptible.
Not ideal though.
