MXXX - accessing midi notes from within a Modular plugin

An oscillator added to the main grid with midi input enabled works fine, responding to notes pressed.

If I instead add a "modular" plugin to the grid and then add the oscillator within that sub-grid, I can find no way for the oscillator to respond to the midi notes - even though it is enabled for midi input.

What am I missing?

Confirmed. I could not get PowerSynth to work insde Modular either. I'll guess that MIDI is not getting into the Modular module.

Just for information, I can send MIDI control messages (CCs or notes) to plug-in parameters for modules loaded in Modular.

Aaaaha, good point, MIDI don't get there, because there would need to be another switch in the Modular. I'll check about that.

While you're looking at that, I've also had some other weirdness with modular.

I have a patch where there's a simple delay tap setup with input and feedback going to a mixer plugin, going to a delay tap plugin that sends feedback to the feedback plugin. Simple and works as expected.

If I swap out the feedback plugin for a modular plugin and just have feedback in that (copy and pasted from the above), I get some pretty horrible distortion.

That's actually quite possible, having a feedback inside a submodular is just really complex scenario. Anyways feel free to send me the settings, just in case I can find something wrong.

The feedback in modular I'm finding necessary as I'm building a 6 tap delay that uses the core plugins as its main component. There just isn't the space to do what I need on the grid without going modular with feedback at the input mixer, as I lose six rows with the cascading delay taps.
