I am trying to automate some parameters of the basic synth preset on mux. I use write mode and some parameters are not getting registered. Others work as planned. Is this a demo limitation or smth else? I tried both in reaper and in tracktion waveform. Same result.

The only demo limitations are those documented on the web site.

Can you give more detail on what you're trying to do - explaining clearly enough that someone who cannot see what you're doing could reproduce it?

For MUX VST the only parameters that can be recorded by the host are the top level meta-parameters.

Ok I' ll try to be as specific as possible. I am testing mux in my daw. I am loading a mux synth plugin.

I am doing a write automation, changing some parameters like "filter|time", amplifier|drv" etc.
Vibrato|freq and ampl dont work. They dont produce an automation curve. The same happens with other presets that have different layouts.

So is your question answered? Did you find how to automate MUX VST parameters in your host DAW?

No, I read about meta-parameters but it seems too complicated for me right now. I just recorded the automation to an audio track.
I am not familiar with synths at all. Guitar is my main instrument. I usually tweak presets and get the job done.

Wow... thank you so much Dakkra for taking the time to do a video just to answer this.It makes sense now. You can erase the video if you don't want it in your channel but its better to make it public cause I am sure a lot of folks will have the same problem as me.
