What are the OSX demo limitations? I've read somewher that Tracktion produces noises bursts every so often.

The noise burst is bad. It makes this kind of wavy seashore sound that just cries out for gull samples, whale samples, ambient pads, and a total musicality by-pass.
I have a hard drive full of wank new-age wannabee crap that I wrote whilst using the early rack betas.
Do youself a favour and register the full version or you might find yourself sounding like one of those dodgy Spirit of the Himalayas[1] CDs.
[1] complete with panflutes, cos everyone from the eskimos to the f**king incas apparently play the panflutes[2].
[2] don't mind me, Ive just been running network cable around my house and I'm covered in dust and shit, and I'm in a bad mood.
