MXXX: Envelope / ADSR tempo Sync

It looks to me like the sync options in, for instance the modulator ADSR's essentially take the numeric values entered into the parameters by the user, and snap them to the nearest selected beat value (quarter note, etc).
So, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that mean that changing the tempo significantly requires re-adjusting each of those parameters manually since the numeric values stay the same, but will be rounded to a different division once the tempo shift is great enough?
If this is the case, has anyone found a way to get it to behave like any other tempo-based effect (ADSR in this example just stretches to fit whatever the host tempo is.).
Not a particularly big thing but since I keep doing tempo based things, I figure I might as well make sure I'm doing them the best way possible.
Investigating at the moment various ways to string together MP's to calculate the difference between used an unused portions of the number of ms in a bar. Not ideal, but that way, if you enter the total MS per bar once, it figures out everything else for you.
Interested in hearing really any method anyone is using to deal with any sort of tempo based calculations or issues.

For instance, has anyone worked out a design that where the user inputs the host tempo, and it switches a variety of elements to fit the new tempo?
Is it possible to read the host tempo?
I'm looking to create switches that snap envelopes to different tempo based units as well as automatically adjust to host tempo.
I'd be interested really in seeing anything at all that anyone has worked out that has to do with simplifying control over tempo based elements.

I don't really follow, you usually post so generalized questions, that it is nearly impossible to answer them. For instance, which plugin? Which envelope? How is it used... Anyways usually the plugins take the current tempo at the moment the ADSR is started, I think. Tremolo feature may readjust on the fly.

Sorry. This was born of confusion from trying to use Envelope custom shape section which did not behave as expected.
Using the custom shape in the normal section (LFO) in single trigger mode instead works exactly like I would have expected in the first place, so this is solved.
