No per-note midi channel, right?

I saw that there's an option to set the midi channel for an entire clip; but I didn't find an option for changing channel per note. It's possible midi-wise and I do it in other DAWs. ETA?

Not possible in Waveform at the moment I'm afraid. No immediate plans to add this..
Do you have a particular use case we could consider to maybe bump it up the FR list?

Sort of a basic arranging tool. For example you play a chord progression and then send each voice to a different patch/instrument, but everything is left in a single clip so that it can be easily edited. Also really useful when recording external fader moves which get sent on separate channels. Waveform just flattens them out to a single channel. I have hit that wall and sought in vain for a workaround in the past.
This has been a standard feature of some host from the beginning. Often each MIDI channel's notes/data is uniquely identifiable by color. For example channel 1 notes might be red, channel 2 blue, etc.
