Help me build a step sequencer/arp in Reaktor (or suggest one that already exists)

I'd like to build a Reaktor step sequencer with the following features:
- Root note to be selectable or come from the DAW
- Button to randomise note
- Button to randomise velocity
- Selectable steps (ie, ability to turn on/off for each)
- Ability to choose scale (including Phrygian)
- Up to 64 steps (not essential but 16 minimum)
So let's start with the basics:
- do I need Reaktor 6 for this or will 5 suffice?
- does something already exist?
- I'm a complete numpty on Reaktor so what would be the first module I'd insert?
TIA
BTW: I would prefer Reaktor over say MUX as I've had it for years and years but never used it other than loading Molekular and Monark.

Update: Thesys had everything I needed so I bought that instead.

Stochas is another cheap sequencer (when on sale) - does some things Thesys does not - eg different length notes, probability of note triggering - but misses other eg allthe modulation stuff. Running Thesys for modulation and Stochas for notes works very well

Thought so. I only bought Thesys today so haven't used it yet.woggle wrote:actually Thesys does do different length notes via gate time - my mistake - just you can't simply drag note length out like in Stochas

Thesys has drag n' drop midi export , so you can play with note length ,Mushy Mushy wrote:Thought so. I only bought Thesys today so haven't used it yet.woggle wrote:actually Thesys does do different length notes via gate time - my mistake - just you can't simply drag note length out like in Stochas
