In learning Tracktion, I've placed a step clip on my time line and placed Stylus RMX as the plugin.
My issue is that when I place multiple steps on the clip to make my drum pattern, the velocities are crazy.
So I place a step clip on the timeline.
I place Stylus RMX as my plugin VST.
I place a note on the first step.
All is well. The velocity step is there.
Now I place a note on the 2nd step and the velocity stem is there BUT THE VELOCITY STEM UNDER 1 IS GONE.
If I try to edit the velocity under the first note, i get the msg - NO NOTE AT STEP - even though it shows a step there???
Is this a bug?

Are you sure you have one of the horizontal channels selected?
You must select one with the floating channel selector to show the velocity/gate editor for that channel.

Yes, it shows the velocity stems. But again on e I lay a second step, the velocity fro the first stem disappears. And I can't wait it because it says the first step is missing even though it shows it there.

Lets say you're adding bass drum hits. Click to add two or three hits.
Then click on the wording on the left, that says "Bass Drum 1". You'll see all the velocity stems for that channel (all the bass drum hits)
If you then add snare hits, again, click on the wording that says "Acoustic Snare 1" to see all the velocity stems for those snare hits.
Otherwise, yes, you'll just see the velocity hit for the single hit you're adding. Till you click to tell it what channel you want it to display.
