Anyone super knowledgeable about the workings of Triple Cheese? That is, is anyone a 'cheese wiz'

There's a switch that has me stumped. What does that on/off button on top of each cheese module do? Clicking it makes the data display "Voice Circuit Active" but I can't figure out what it does for the life of me.

Here's what it is NOT
-not a module on/off or bypass switch
-not a phase start switch like you can find in Zebra CM.
-doesn't change a module's response to envelopes.
-doesn't decrease the polyphony of the modules...

For that last point I was thinking it could make one of the modules monophonic, like have the same comb or damp filter effect all voices. Or have the Stressor waveshaper act on the post signal sum instead of per voice. Doesn't seem to be the case though.

Maybe it's just a vestigial switch with no function at all...?

I eat a lotta cheese, thus I feel qualified to answer your question.

Well, it would be just that, a module on/off switch for each of three generators.
But it's broken in the currently released version. :o
We fixed that a long time ago, but never released an updated version.
We'll probably do so one fine day, but I don't know when that will be.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?
