Is it possible to assign Midi CC to Start/Stop??

I wonder if it is possible to trigger Start/Stop with midi somehow???

Just as an experiment, I tried this once. Defined my regular MIDI interface as a control surface, and used MIDI learn to map tracktion functions to the bottom few keys on the keyboard. So the lowest C on the keyboard was Play/Stop, D was Record, E was rewind to beginning.

The rest of the keys get passed through normally, and those few worked, even though the keyboard didn't have "special function" transport control keys.
