Hi,
I am brand new to midi recording and using DAWs so I thought I would download Tracktion 7 as it supports VST unlike other Mac software. I am using PG-8X but all of a sudden have started hearing this wooshing/hissing sound about every 15-20 seconds. I did a little bit of researching and it said that if you are using a trial version of one of Tracktion's software it will give you a hissing sound after 30 days. I confused because I only downloaded this today... Anyone know how to fix it and if it is permanent?
Help me: Tracktion 7 Whooshing/Hissing sound

It may be possible that you have to register one or some of the plugins even if they are not being used in any projects ( its just a wild guess tho ), try going through and opening up some of the plugins and see if you get prompted by any text.

Yea im not sure. I have not gotten any text prompts yet. It is possible I clicked through one when installing without looking at it. It might just be a drawback to having the free version.

You need to have an account on the Tracktion site (from when you downloaded); and you can unlock T7, permanently. Long time since I did that, so am not positive. Any of the major Tracktion .vst's may also do the same swooshing, but only if they're loaded in a project. (Mastermix)
