MDrummer does not show the sample being used

It seems that MDrummer does not show the name of the sample being used for an instrument. I'd like to change the snare sample but also I'd like to know which one is being used, so I can go back if needed. The Drumset Editor does not highlight the current sample in its sample list.

Newbie, but could that be because it is in one of the synth modes rather than a sample? (Seen examples here)

I'm also newbie. For instance I didn't know that there were synth modes. So far I thought MDrummer was only using samples.

MDrummer is sort of modular, it cannot really show samples for a drum because of that, plus there may be multiple layers etc... I'd suggest using the Drumset designer with all the components.
