making groove templates?

Thinking about buying tracktion, almost there... confused about sends and couple other things, anyway, i have mpc grooves in midi file format and was wondering if there's a way to import these somehow into tracktion, like if i import the files and select the notes and make a template that way or something? not sure how you go about this or if its even possible.

as far as I know there is now way to import or extract grooves in tracktion. You can edit/create templates using the editor in tracktion but importing doesn't exist yet.

Yeah you can import midi files just like you can import audio files. Can't imprt rex file afaik, but there are ways round that with Kontakt/Battery or other samplers.
