I love the tracks tab in the browser, but it could be expanded. It's already great for quick navigation, but it has a lot of untapped potential. Here's some ideas:

1. Selecting tracks in the tracks tab selects them in the arrangement. This would be similar to how selecting a marker in the Markers tab selects it in arrangement. Applying batch options in the control panel would be quicker this way.

2. Mute/solo buttons in the track tab. The current workflow for batch muting/soloing tracks is to select them in arrangement and then use the control panel. Using the tracks tab would require less scrolling.

3. A "Jump" command that moves the arrangement to and selects the jumped track. For large projects, this would eliminate constant scrolling to find that one track in that one folder somewhere. This could also be a double-click, like how double-clicking markers in the Markers tab jumps the transport to that marker.

4. Tagging folder and submix tracks

5. Hiding folder/submixes when "Show only tagged tracks" is selected and they contain no tagged tracks. If you use a lot of folders, it's odd to see them stay visible when you're trying to show only certain tags.

6. An option to select tagged tracks in the tracks tab or batch disable/hide/mute/solo tracks by tag. An example would be: I want to disable guitars and keys in the track tab; I click on the guitars and keys tags; then I could select the tagged tracks and disable them. Maybe a "select tagged tracks" command or a "show only tagged tracks in tabs panel" option. Another option could be right-clicking on a tag and getting "disable/hide/mute/solo tag" options.

7. Option for a different selected track indicator in the tracks tab. The dark blue can be subtle. I'd prefer the standard red outlines, but I assume color-blindness would have to be accounted for.

8. Related ideas for the Markers tab: a 1-button "set loop around a marker and turn on looping" option, since that's such a common use case. Also, a way to manually order marker numbers based on their position. I often move markers around while arranging and end up with an order like 1-4-5-8-2-3-7, and manually changing the marker numbers to the correct order gets annoying.
Linux version?
