Hello,
I purchased Tracktion recently because it offers a version for Linux.
Unfortunately I did not "read the fine print" and apparently "Linux" means "Ubuntu 16.04" for Tracktion 7 and Waveform 9, at least officially.
The documentation is lacking in regard to Linux.
To help myself out, and anyone else NOT using Ubuntu, I have created AppImages for T7 and W9.
I need one or two volunteers to do some basic testing, first on Ubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu 18.04, then slowly growing out from there.
I hope to make this process robust enough that Tracktion themselves can officially take over, should it meet their needs.
As I have limited free time, bear with me if don't respond immediately.
Thank you.

What process do you go through to create the AppImage?
I had a quick look at it but it seemed to be more complex than our existing packaging.
If it's easy to script and can replace our existing debian packages I'd be happy to consider.
