"Lost material" and freeze bug

Hi :)

I am very glad Tracktion registered user since some months but I have two majors bugs despite updates.

1. sometimes, imported audio files are lost with a message "lost material". The problem is that the files are still at the same place on my HD, with no particularity (no read-only flag and nothing special on the file naming...). I am able to play the music in the evening, I then push "save edit", load it back in Tracktion the next day and these files are flagged "lost material" and of course are mute...I have to search for them manually.
Do you have idea of the source of this problem and what I can do to populate globally all the audio clips which use the same file?

2. In the import audio material window (same thing for the sampler import audio window), if I don't select a file and simply click on the cross to close the window, my PC freezes. I mean, it really freezes with no other possibility than a power-off...!
I have this problem right from the first day I have used Tracktion with another PC (full Intel). Now I have a new one. So, I think the problem is in Tracktion...?
Is it a known issue?

Thank for your help and answers.

My PC is :
Asus AN7X-X (nForce2 chipset)
512 Mb RAM
AMD 2400+ processor
Windows XP

I just tried this and I can't replicate it. You are using the latest version? Then it must be a difference in our configuration. I'm running a p4 in win2k with a m-audio audiophile 2496.

Thanks. I use the last Tracktion update.

I tried on another PC and it works... I really don't understand what can cause this. Maybe my video driver as this is the only thing which did not change from my previous configuration.

Any idea for the lost material bug?

I would just like to know if this is a known issue. Maybe it is just time for a clean reinstall of my DAW.
