Behringer UMC1820 audio control

Hey guys,

Hoping someone will respond to my query.

We bought UMC1820 but found later that audio level on umc1820 can not be controlled using any software or DAW. If this is true can someone please suggest work around. Our goal is to control audio gain at UMC using GUI or any software or DAW (waveform in this case)

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

We are using an UMC1820 in our lab to drive a 10 speaker Ambisonics system. Not quite sure what you mean. The interface works just like any other audio interface. Of course you can control the audio level through the software you are using.

if we go to umc control panel and then lower volume on input or output has no effect on real audio out at umc1820. We are trying to control audio levels using this control panel or GUI but it doesn't control audio in real though it will reflect in control panel that it is doing it but when we hear it its same.

Can't speak to the UMC control panel since I have everything on Macs where the interface is natively supported. But the fact that you can't control the volume through the control panel does not mean that you can't control it through a DAW. Just adjust the master level.

Just a guess based on the manual, but make sure the MONITORING knob is turned all the way to PB 1-2 and is not on IN
