does waveform 10 allow loop's keys to be changed once you pull them into the timeline? for example if i have a loop in c and the project is in the key of a , does the loop change to the key of a? or, do i have to create a chord track for the lop to follow?

Not audio loops, no. The problem here is that with straight pitch-shifting it's not possible to correctly transpose a chord. For example, transposing a Cmaj in to a Dmin.
We hope to explore this a bit later in the year though.

Not sure if Dave answered your the first part of your question. Yes, if you drag a loop in they will transpose to match the key of the song as specified in the tempo track, but no, they won't follow additional changes in the chord track.

Clip on the clip and go to the second page "Loop Properties"
Is auto pitch enabled? And is the root not set correctly?
