Diva & Repro install problems with OS X Mojave

Hello all!

I hope this doesn't sound TOO stupid but I am new to Mac and OS X. I just bought the newest Mac Mini loaded up and finished putting all my various DAW's, all my Arturia, N.I., and Waves stuff on the new machine.

So N.I. is having the killer sale on u-he stuff and I purchased Diva and Repro. I downloaded it all, ran the .pkg installers, did the registrations, received my actual serial numbers.... and elected to install only the AU format (no VST, VST2, 3 etc.) and neither Diva nor Repro shows up in Logic.

I have always been a Windows person until I got more serious about my home music hobby and now I'm strictly Apple but, unfortunately, a noob to OS X.

So I can't locate the Audio Units for diva and repro. I guess Mojave doesn't have the same directory structure as older versions. I did find the component folders for Diva and Repro but I've no idea how to refresh the 'vst path' or 'AU path' in Logic so I can't actually drag Diva/Repro INTO a track so it comes up and asks for my serial numbers.

I bought 'em. I downloaded the demos. I'm ready to check them out... and can't find the darn things (diva/repro)

Could anybody help an old man out here?
:help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :tu:

Thanks to ANYBODY who can help and doesn't mind doing so!

Try logging off and logging back in again. If that doesn't work, try restarting the computer.

This is (unfortunately) a known issue for some latest versions of macOS.

Exactly what terminus said. Simply reboot your computer and the plugins will magically appear in Logic.
Logic only uses AU, not VST. And for some weird reason this reboot is required for many AU plugins, ever since Apple released High Sierra.

I want to thank you two for your help! It could be JUST that simple, eh? Well, I’ll be trying that just as soon as I get home from work today.

Again, THANK YOU very much! :tu:

Hopefully I will be able to help others soon enough. Being brand new to OS X and Logic Pro X is kinda stressful!

Just to clarify for y’all I do install the AAX as well as VST’s because I own Pro Tools 10 & 11, Live 10, Reason 10, and others!

Thanks again!

Yes, it's a known issue from High Sierra onwards... Newly installed plugins often don't show up without a reboot (or a restart of the au process). Annoying...

Switching to Mac from Windows took me about a week until I first thought "why the hell was I using Windows all those years". Using a Mac gets easy very quickly, shouldn't take long until the stress abates.
