is there a specific place for waveform feature request?

more and more people like me make music on a laptop these days, so being able to use the qwerty keyboard as a midi controller is an essential feature.

the way it works in waveform right now makes it almost unusable. for example, if you open collective and try to tweek a parameter with the mouse, the keyboard loose its focus, so you have to go down and click on the keyboard again to reactivate it.

the best implementation i've seen so far is in bitwig, they use the caps lock key to freeze the keyboard as a controller, so you can do whatever you want with the mouse, as long as caps lock is engaged, the keyboard stays a controller for the selected track. it is also very fast to switch back and forth if you want to use a keyboard shortcut.
