Waveform - Start recording at timeline position instead of loop start

Hello,

When recording in "loop" mode, I would like that when I start recording, ie. when I press the "r" key, that the recording starts at the current position of the timeline, for example, at the middle of the loop if it is at the middle.

Right now, recording starts at the begin of the loop.

The idea behind this is to use Waveform like a looping pedal.

I want to record midi notes in several passes (using overlays/takes or not), but I don't want the playback to stop or to reset to the beginning of the loop.
I want to have the possibility to disable/enable recording midi events without influencing the playback.
