Holding down Cmd (macOS) bypasses snap for the edit cursor.
  • Pressing the split hotkey (defalt: /) while holding shift does not split.
  • Letting go of Cmd makes the cursor snap back to the grid.
We need some way to utilize the edit cursor without toggling snap on/off manuall.
