In the recorder, the beat sensitivity slider (lower right, down arrow) appears to be reversed. Higher values cause fewer beats to be detected, lower values cause more beats to be detected.

I would expect the higher value to be more sensitive to beats, thusly causing more beats to be detected. Groove Doctor works this way (as does almost every Beat Sensitivity slider out there).

I suppose the slider sets the trig threshold. So a lower setting will detect weaker beats. Seems logical to me.

Sure, if it was called threshold. However it's called sensitivity. Higher = more sensitive = more beats.
