When routing two sine oscillators into a merge module ( set to fm mode )
The initial attack portion of the resulting output shows some artifacts , the negative portions of the waveform are dissmissed
When setting FM size to full (100*) , there is also a considerable fade in time before the fm amount/depth is applied .

Copied from email I sent you (not sure why you are double posting everything)

What you are experiencing is completely natural, since this is NOT a natural FM, but a simulated one and in the beginning it just needs to wait for some input from the oscillators. Please use the dedicated FM matrix module.

What do you mean with a simulated one ?
I know it's not phase modulation , but do you mean it's using a buffer , hence the delay when increasing FM size ?

Correct! It's a separate module, it doesn't know what kinds of inputs it gates. Imagine you'd send some random signal into it, it first needs to buffer it, then it can do the magic.
