Hello,
In Waveform 9, I used the Aux Send/Return pair from Waveform Plugins to send signal to a reverb plugin so that I can send several drum tracks to the same reverb unit for processing. Muting a track with a post-fader aux send also cuts audio being routed to the track's aux send so the offending sound does not show up in the reverb.
In Waveform 10, the setup works the same way except for the fact that muting the track still allows signal to flow through the post-fader aux send and into the reverb plugin on the other side of the aux return. Here's the most basic setup:
Track 1: An audio clip with snare drum and an Aux Send inserted immediately after the Volume & Pan plugin.
Track 2: No clips with Aux Return inserted immediately before the Volume & Pan plugin. (In practice, I would insert a reverb plugin between them, but it is not necessary to demonstrate the problem.)
Now, when I mute Track 1 via the big red M button on the right the sound of the track is no longer sent to the mix, but the aux send is still sending signal to the return. I would expect the post-fader aux send to NOT be sending signal when the track is muted, as Waveform 9 and most every other mixing board with a post-fader send would do.
Please, if anyone can confirm this, I would appreciate it, and of course, if I'm missing something obvious, I would like to also know.
Thanks.
P

Just tested in Windows 10, this doesn't happen like you've described.
Muting the track with the send stops signal being sent to the return track.
not sure why you're testing this without a reverb plugin on the return track, can you explain?

I reverted the aux send behaviour to how it was in 9 as of 10.0.1.7, it will be coming to public beta soon.

FigBug: Thank you! I always get paranoid when making a bug report that I'm just missing something or crazy.

Sure. The reverb wasn't necessary to confirm that the signal was being sent to the return even though the sending track was muted. I always try to simplify steps to reproduce the problem down to the bare minimum in order to help devs eliminate unnecessary investigation.
