I wish they would include all of the other Acuma plugins:
PRO AUDIO LAB™ Powerful audio metering tools
DSR-1™ Three-band frequency controlled “De-Esser” dynamic processor
FINAL MIX™ A professional, realtime stereo mastering processor
SATURATED FAT™ Distortion and Speaker Cabinet Modeling with Seven-Band EQ
RTA-31™ Realtime 31-Band EQ and Spectral Analysis

Am I ungrateful?

And I think they should send some good monitors to every user, just to make sure they make excellent mixes.
Heck, I would even take a professional keyboard, come on mackie, give me one !

Yep, haven't used it yet (been pretty busy, see below) it looks pretty cool. Can't beat the price! Odd how the release sort of popped in out of the blue. But what is 'Luxonixs freebee thingamabob'?Pukeweed wrote:Great day.. Final Mix, and Luxonixs freebee thingamabob.
(now going OT) Charley, a category 3 hurricane, is headed straight for the Tampa bay area. I'm in a flood zone and under a mandatory evacuation order. If we get hit with a 10-14' surge as predicted, I might not be posting for a while...Chuck you, Farley!!

Well, if I weren't already damned, I would be!
Got home, installed the new Tracktion release, and the Ravity effects unit.. immediately slapped Final Mix across the stereo buss on one of my tunes.. w00t! Lots of nice presets, good sound in my opinion.. and easy on the CPU!
I'm calling in sick tomorrow so I can stay home and work on tunes, I'm suddenly inspired! Run!

ps. Take care bithead and get out of there if you have to! Don't get washed away man!

NM about Luxonix, I saw the release thread. Got it. Free stuff is always good. Yep, we live in pretty amazing times WRT music technology.
[OT] I've lived in FL for 40 years, ain't no wind or water kin skeeer me...NOT! I'm not so arrogant to think I'm smarter than FEMA. So yeah, I'm hightailin' it outa here early tomorrow morning, I'm all gassed up and ready to roll. I was thinking about riding it out, but the power company is going to cut power early to prevent the generators from getting fried, and 8' of flood water will cover the cars in the parking lot (e.g. my van). So I'll pack the non-replaceable stuff like kid pictures, and of course I'm packing my laptop (with Tracktion) guitars and some of the basic little stuff like tube pre, mic, a couple of cables etc. I'm on the 2nd floor in a 3-story apt. bldg. so flood damage isn't likely, and the brand new tile roof should hold. Still, wind-driven water could be nasty. But worst case scenario, I get a big ins. check, a new apartment, and buy all new everything. All new gear! w00t!

Very cool and unexpected addition to Tracktion. Thnks to whoever made it possible. I REALLY need a plug like this. I never heard of the developer. Are they new?
