Hi,
It seems that the maximum decay time is 10s. A bass note for a Rhode or a piano is much more longer.
Is there a way to have a longer decay time ?
Thanks !

Hi, I'm afraid not, but are you sure about that - I assume you mean the time after you press the key, not after the key release, which IS the release time. I'd recommend setting Decay to maximum (I assume 10s) and sustain to something low. That way the Decay will end in so high time, that it won't really matter that the sound will eventually sustain on some constant value.

Hi,
Thanks for the answer ! Yes you're right, I mean the time after the key is pressed. The bass piano keys rings for at least 20 seconds. When I try to modelize this on MSF, the bass keys cannot seems real because of the too short decay time. I tried your workaround, but if the sustain is too low (not audible), it sounds like a 10s decay, and if the sustain is set low (but audible), it does not sound like a piano simply because the sound stays at the same level (and it should vanish).
However, I understand that it is not a usual playing situation.

Hi,
As a workaround, you might be able to combine Hold and Decay to get a total decay time of 20 seconds.
Hold doesn't have to stay constant; it can also "decay" - look at the slider below the Hold time. Use that for the first 10 seconds of decay time, then Decay can pick up the next 10 seconds.
