He he... I use MTurboReverb regularly but never hit the Edit button so far. First time I'm seeing what's offered in Edit mode :)

Cheers.

That's how to drive and airplane without reading a single line from the manual :D :D

Looking forward to his insightful non-manual-reading views of supercollider and puredata

:hihi:
I wonder what would convince him to read at least a few lines of a manual.
Perhaps a nuclear power plant/submarine control/monitoring panel? Or he would just randomly push buttons and turn knobs?

I would love to see what his ("snake oil or not") review of this room would be like.

The video started a bit unfair according to my taste, but later he gets more honest, hehe. ... while it nags me a bit that he moves knobs and wonders what is happening, even if it's an obvious knob.

I just love MTurboReverb, while I mainly stay on the easy screen, tbh. But it's also some kind of thought I just can have with this tool: whenever I want, I am ABLE to create even more totally new reverbs by writing own algorithm and I never feel limited. This alone already is so unbelievable great. :D

... yes, I am a fan boy. ;)

Its funny at the beginning he reads on the website, “The edit screen isn’t for beginners” and disregards that thinkthe can figure it out. 5 min later after he opens the edit screen he’s saying how it’s complicated and he doesn’t know what anything does. You can’t say nobody warned you.😂

He also did one on the MSpectralDynamics "I'm not sure if youtube have enough place on their servers to make a video about this thing".

He's funny, though. And was quite impressed with MSpectralDynamics.

Cheers.

That's Wytse. It's a point of pride with him.

I actually really like this guy. He can be hard to watch for more than a couple of videos, but in the end, I find I agree with him more often than not. And don't overlook that on first listen he said "that's already very good!" and "the stuff that is in there ...all sounds super good!" and "it really delivers".

"I'm too stupid for this" - I feel that way frequently with Melda plugins! Thank you for the Presets and "Easy Screens"! :D

PS. Is there a "Lexicon 480 Large Hall" preset? (I'll have to check.) He mentions that at the end of the video - it would be a good Preset to point him towards.

You gave THIS guy a free copy to do a review?!?! Are you CRAZY ?!?! :D
Seriously, he is very often part goofing in his reviews, and quite often he's goofing on himself.
Once you watch him a bit, you get used to when he's jokingly throwing some shade, and when he really means it.
Overall, from him, it's a pretty good review. And the one posted on Spectral Dynamics is very good. Just check out a few more of his videos...if a plugin isn't "all that", so to speak, he'll make it very clear to not bother with it. So, again, coming from him - this was a pretty good review on MTurboReverb.

Now I wonder what he'd make of something like MSpectral Delay. Or Autodynamic Eq, or....well, many others! Do you dare try to have him review more Melda plugins? If so, choose carefully!

He seems to actually like Melda plugins a lot. Sending him more free plugins is the answer :D

Hehe yeah, his reviews are more like "unpacking experiences" :D :D
