Often I just want to push the limiter to hear what the effect it's having on the sound, but with the inverse gain on the output. This is super common on dynamic effects, in fact most of Melda's dynamic effects have temp gain (which do positive input & negative output) ... I'm surprised MLimiterX doesn't have it as limiting has such a drastic effect I want to hear what it's doing to the transients.

I can of course just use a multiparamter, but that's a pain to set up every time and it's a natural fit for the effect, so I thought I'd ask.

While you wait to see if this will be added, you can use the temp gain in MXXX. it is there along with Dry/Wet etc. Easier/faster than setting up a multiparameter.

Ah that's true yeah! I tend to use MXXX1 though (as I'll add a crossover in the lanes if I need one) and that doesn't have global controls like temp-gain unfortunately. Good idea though!

Or just implement your own limiter in MDynamics ;). After all MLimiterX is just a specialization of MDynamics ;)
