very happy about SDS is free now, but it would be fantastic to see DK+ as donationware too!

Well, if donations could be at least 5% of downloads I would do that.
So far almost nobody donated for SDS, maybe most musicians think that a donation of only 1.5 € is not valuable, but it is!
Anyway I understand that these are hard times for almost everybody, but to support bug fixing and further updates I need some money.

Actually it says "The SDS beta has expired" and crashes Cubase randomly.

I just downloaded and installed the latest version from your website and I still get the "SDS beta has expired". I'm on Windows 8.1 using FL Studio 20 64 bit.

edit: I'm currently uninstalling SDS, then I'll clear my registry, and reinstall once more and see if that works.
