Hello !

Just tried to duplicate an edit in one of my big projects from the project tab, edit in which I have 10 freeze points.

After opening the new duplicated edit, all my freeze points have disappeared ???? Even the inserted plug-in ?

Anyone ever experienced that ? Looks like a bug ?

I know that freeze data are in temp folders and will often not travel with us when we move the project to another revision.
freeze points have disappeared for me also, and this is T7.
I think I can tolerate that the freeze becomes inactive, but disappearing the metaplugin is a bit unhappy.

Waouuuuuuhhh.... Thanks for this post.

It's hard to mix with a customer in front of the screen when this happens. Big waste of time when you have to recreate every freeze points on a really big edit ! And greedy plugs....

It's the same problem as the post I created concerning the waveforms always recreated.

Hope we can find a way ???

Did you mean "duplicate a project", or duplicate an edit?

@anbz,
is it the same, when you unfreeze all before the copy, but leave the freeze points in place?
you would have to re-freeze anyway.
the question is, when there is no conflict with missing freeze data, the metaplugins might stay alive, so is this a workaround?
or do they still disappear?
